While discussing the topic of womanhood/femininity...
Grace: I actually feel more womanly when I am with other women. I mean, when does your manhood feel most... tangible?
Dr. John: ...eyes widen and sides of mouth tilt upwards, forming a smurk and suppressing a laugh...
Grace: (blushing) That's NOT what I meant!

You are priceless! It is kinda funny how you just walk yourself right into those conversations.
: )
It is not my fualt that your womenhood makes my manhood tangible.

She is kinda blonde when it comes to these, eh mori? I would also have to half disagree with grace. Sometimes I feel more womanly with women--mostly when we are dressing up, putting on makeup and finding the perfect outfit for an evening. However, I also feel really womanly when I am all beautified for an evening, and I have a great man on my arm. Maybe I just feel womanly when I feel beautiful. Is that my conclusion?
Eryka, I feel most womanly when I am doing a "woman" thing... specifically, comforting my child, chilling with all the ladies in the kitchen while the guys handle the grill, observing my curves while I try on a new dress.... being admired by a good man.
The point I was making was that my womanhood is not determined by a man but is rather intrinsic and internal. It is based on what I do and how I feel- not on how someone else percieves me.
