Goin' for the Garter
John and I were just discussing the bouquet and garter toss. John said something about taking his time when he took off the garter because he would be distracted by my legs.
Grace: You better hope I don't plan a little surprise for you or something?
John: Like what?
Grace: Well, you know, some people release a flock of doves during their first kiss. I might release a flock of doves when you go for the garter...
John: That is hilarious and scary, all at the same time.

If I would have known it was going to be that bad, I would not have asked him to help assemble the invitations. Amazingly, neither of us suffered a fatal paper cut, or any other invitation-related injuries. However, being us (in particular, me being me) we did suffer injuries.
I stopped by the post office after work to send out the invites. What drama. We had all these issues with things needing to be re-printed, so the invites went out a bit later than anticipated. I have to give a big shout-out to VistaPrint.com who has totally come through for us with a lot of our paper needs. Love that place.
Can't wait to start seeing those RSVPs in the mail! Yea!
