But I found a way to serve tuna that makes them beg for more.
And it's simple. In fact, you could probably make this for dinner tonight.
Tuna Tacos
Ingredients
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tuna or albacore in water
- Your normal taco seasoning stuff (seasoning packet, onions, whatever)
- water
Drain tuna and separate slightly with fork. Place into skillet with taco seasonings and at least 1/4 c. water. Cook until water is gone and tuna is the consistency of your "regular" taco filling (some like it dry, some like it a little saucier.)
Easy-peasy!
I have a feeling this could be done with fresh fish as well- using a boneless/skinless fillet of a mild fish (talapia or something) and cooking with taco seasoning, flaking apart into chunks as it cooked. I will try that soon and let you know:)
